A new chapter begins.
The Postmark is an award-winning transformation of Reading’s historic 1918 U.S. Post Office into a vibrant mixed-use residential community. The five-story development combines 50 luxury condominium residences with three commercial spaces while preserving the character and significance of an important local landmark.
THE VISION
Presevering character.
The Postmark was conceived as a bridge between Reading’s past and its future. Rather than replacing a piece of the town’s architectural history, the development reimagined it, bringing new residential life, commercial activity, and contemporary amenities to a landmark downtown location.
Residents enjoy a collection of shared amenities including a rooftop deck, grilling station, gym, kitchenette, and dedicated mail area. The result is a development that honors the building’s history while creating a distinctly modern residential experience.
The project was recognized with the 2021 BRAGB Gold PRISM Award for Best Mixed-Use Community Development.
